Bright Morning Star

Bright morning star a'rising

Bright morning star a'rising

Bright morning star a'rising

Day is a'breaking in my soul

Oh where are our dear mothers?

Oh where are our dear mothers?

They are sowing seeds of gladness

Day is a'breaking in my soul

Oh where are our dear sisters?

Oh where are our dear mothers?

They have gone on before us

Day is a'breaking in my soul

Some have gone to heaven shouting

Some have gone to heaven shouting

Some are in the valley praying'

Day is a'breaking in my soul

Oh where are our dear fathers?

Oh where are our dear fathers?

They are down in the valley a'praying

Day is a'breaking in my soul

Oh how can I be lonely

My friends are all around me

Their loving arms surround me

Day is a'breaking in my soul

Bright morning star a'rising

Bright morning star a'rising

Bright morning star a'rising

Day is a'breaking in my soul
